Three articles attracted my (otherwise distracted) attention recently:
1) Writing at Starbucks - an extremely funny and truthful opus by Odd Todd, who once visited Starbucks in his search of inspiration. The issue of working at cafes is very interesting for me now that Marik has started attending the infant center and I spend these few hours trying to do work in a cafe at Santana Row.
2) How to fake … a Web 2.0 logo - an even more truthful and humorous guide on creating a Web 2.0-compliant site. Again, this article is right on time! ;)
3) Series A Financing: How Much to Raise? - on the contrary, some serious reading about VCs, entrepreneurs, and funding arithmetics.

Logo Design blog > and more
Just wanted to make a note about an interesting site I stumbled across - Logo Sauce. It is very informative, with a blog and lots of illustrations.
Update: I've recently discovered another interesting article on the issue: 10 trends that will define logo design in 2008. Well worth reading!
Yet another update: Another exciting article about new trends in logo design: All change

Exploding Dog's Powerbook G4 Tribute
Browsing the web today morning I stumbled across exploding dog's tribute to his beloved Powerbook G4. Pictures speak almost as graphically as words...
I can very much relate to the story, since my own PowerMac G4 purchased early in 2001 has only retired two months ago. Hope my new MacBook Pro serves me as long!

Interesting article by Wil Harris: Why Web 2.0 will end your privacy. I especially liked the description of Web 2.0 as "plushy, rounded, pastel-coloured" — so true!
